He's the founder and director of Lion Selection Group Limited, one of PhosCo's largest shareholders.

Mehdi Ben Abdallah

Executive Director

Mehdi Ben Abdallah is Managing Partner of an advisory firm working with several companies in the energy sector, previously served as General Manager with Shell, Vice-President with BG Group, and Executive Director of International Relations with the leading Tunisian employers’ association. 

He also holds several senior Leadership roles with bilateral chambers of commerce in Tunis and London.

Craig Smyth

Chief Financial Officer

Craig has over 25 years of accounting experience in mining investment and finance. Craig’s financial background includes Coopers & Lybrand, Credit Suisse First Boston (London) and ANZ Investment Bank.

Craig is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

Taz Aldaoud

Managing Director

Taz is a chemist and entrepreneur with a strong background in management, sales, and marketing. He currently serves as a managing partner at Chemist Warehouse. Taz has a deep understanding of investment markets, specialising in emerging companies in the mineral resources sector.

Sam Lancuba

Non-Executive Director 

Sam Lancuba is a chemical engineer with more than 45 years’ experience in all aspects of the global fertiliser industry, following an extensive career with Incitec Pivot Limited. He has extensive technical and market experience of fertiliser processing operations and products throughout the world, having consulted to industry clients in Australia, New Zealand, USA, South America, Europe, India and China.

Naceur Chniter

Country Manager

Naceur is a Mining engineer with more than 45 years of experience in mining project management. His experience spans several national and international projects, including fluorite, phosphate, salt and lead-zinc projects. 



He has a mining engineer diploma from Mining School of Nancy - France and Euro Arab Management Diploma from Granada School of Spain. He is also a member of the Order of Tunisian Engineers.

Aymen Arfaoui

MAusIMM

Geology Manager

A senior geoscientist and mining engineer at PhosCo, Aymen is a Tunisian expert with extensive experience in Tunisian geology and mining exploration. 

With a degree in geosciences engineering, he is highly skilled in geological mapping, resource modeling, and the integration of complex geological systems. Aymen has worked on diverse projects, including the Gasaat discovery, and has held key roles at Celamin Ltd and the Phosphate Company of Gafsa (CPG).

Paul Harper

Sponsor and Reviewer – Mining Engineer and Managing Director of Enthalpy.

Paul has more than 35 years experience in the mining industry, and was previously MD of renowned consulting group AMC.
