Simon has vast experience as a commercial lawyer in the resources sector in both Australia and Africa.

As the founding director of Egan Street Resources, he has extensive transactional experience in both onshore and offshore resources projects.

Craig Smyth

Chief Financial Officer

Craig has over 25 years of accounting experience in mining investment and finance. Craig’s financial background includes Coopers & Lybrand, Credit Suisse First Boston (London) and ANZ Investment Bank.

Craig is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

Taz Aldaoud

Executive Director

Taz is a chemist and entrepreneur with a strong background in management, sales, and marketing. He currently serves as a managing partner at Chemist Warehouse. Taz has a deep understanding of investment markets, specialising in emerging companies in the mineral resources sector. 

Donald Thomson

BSc (Hons), MAusIMM

Geology Manager, Tunisia

Donald is a geologist with 35 years experience, 20 of them in senior management roles for Newcrest, Johnsons Well Mining, and Legend Mining.

In 2011-2012, he worked as exploration Manager for PhosCo and was instrumental in the initial drill program which highlighted the potential of Chaketma.

Dr Chiheb Maghrebi

Director General - CPSA

Chiheb has 40 years of mining industry and equity market experience. This includes 25 years of mining experience in Tunisia and throughout Africa, consulting on various projects with EBRD, AfDB, Shell, Group Chimique, and British Gas.

He has a Doctorate in geology and environment from the National School of Engineers of Sfax.

Maître Makram Boudali

Legal Representative, Tunisia

Makram is a lawyer with extensive corporate management and governance experience. He currently leads an established Tunisian law firm which has specialised in arbitration, corporate and energy law for 60 years.

Makram holds a Masters of Advanced Studies in Law from the University of Tunis.

Paul has more than 35 years experience in the mining industry, and was previously MD of renowned consulting group AMC.

Drew Craig

Project Manager and Geology

Drew is a geologist with 28 years of experience consulting world-wide on a range of projects, including Barrick in Saudi Arabia, Kaz Minerals in Kazakhstan, and Ma’aden in Saudi Arabia.
